A ruha amit vettem - relative clause-ok (B1)
Angolos ötletek - 2010. szeptember 26.
A tananyag a relative clause-ok világába kalauzol bennünket, és ott ad értékes és követhető útmutatást - méghozzá magyarul, a félreértések elkerülése végett. A pédák viszont már angolul vannak, akár csak a sok-sok feladat a tananyag végén található kvízben.

Language | Grammar |
Level | Pre-intermediate |
Time needed | 20-25 mins |
What you can learn | In this module we tell you everything you need to know about relative clauses, clauses that begin with THAT, WHICH, WHO etc. (There were two relative clauses in the previous two sentences.) We tell you all this in Hungarian, with lots of examples, and then it's your turn to do our quiz - in English! |
What you need on your computer |
Macromedia Flash Player (to view the interactive exercise) Microsoft Word (to download material as a handout) |
Teacher's note | This is a grammar lesson about defining and non-defining relative clauses introduced by WHO, THAT, wHICH, WHERE, WHOSE, and WHEN. Then explanations are in Hungarian, and most of the many examples come from the context of fashion and clothes, to make students' task even easier. The quiz at the end comprises a gapfill task and an exercise where students have to pass grammaticality judgements over pairs of sentences.
